Geschichte des Tages
Lured- bound till death
I thought I saw the sun when I met you
I fell in love without a clue
Like a Venus trap you lured me in
With a Siren’s voice and velvet skin
For a moment I forgot who I really am
Till I woke in darkness in my own hell

Your beauty is beyond any words
I shivered when I saw you first
Your words so sweet, I thought of honey
You came from wealth, you sure screamed money

My mind went blank, when you talked to me
And I asked myself: How could it be?
That this beautiful man talks so charmingly
To a woman as plain as I thought I would be

I loved everything about you instantly
And I gave myself to you and I liked being me
One month you made me think I was your dream
And I said yes to your proposal, I shouted it – I screamed

It was the happiest day; I thought I’d combust
I gave you my heart, my love, all of my trust
One week later you put a ring on my finger
In a church full of people, told me: you are the winner

I cried happy tears while we danced all night long
I never heard the thunder – I never saw the storm
We moved across the world to a faraway place
I left all my friends behind and my family as well

What’s mine is yours- it was all that you desired
I had no suspicion, believed in your worship and fire
You broke my heart right after the flight,
took me into our “home”, seconds after midnight.

You told me the truth and thought I was funny,
that I never saw that you had not much money
You and I — all just a lie, to get you rich really fast
You thanked for your plan and lay down your mask

Now I sit in this room by myself all alone
Where you locked me in – all my love is just gone

I thought I saw the sun when I met you
I fell in love without a clue
Like a Venus trap you lured me in
With a Siren’s voice and velvet skin
For a moment I forgot who I really am
Till I woke in darkness in my own hell…
